I’m passionate about Park Ridge and committed to seeing our community thrive. I’m looking forward to helping my neighbors – whether that’s connecting them to the City services they need or helping them find the answers to their questions or concerns. As your Alderperson, I will be your voice at City Hall, working to make sure your concerns are heard, addressed and that you get clear answers to your questions.

I’m looking forward to connecting with and meeting more of my neighbors in the 6th Ward. I’d love to chat with you and learn about what is and isn’t working in city government for you. I feel communication is key to our success. Let’s do this, together!

Lauren Rapisand has been an active member of the Park Ridge community for over 11 years. Like many families, Lauren and her husband, Jason, made the decision to leave Chicago and settle here to build their family. They have two children: Maxwell, a 4th grader, and Reese, a 1st grader at Washington Elementary School. You may see them out walking their loyal canine, Guinness, around town—or more likely, Guinness is walking them!

Rapisand is a seasoned communications and branding professional with experience in crafting impactful media relations strategies across non-profit and corporate sectors. Holding a Masters degree in Communications from Northwestern University, she focused on strengthening and promoting brands while fostering strategic relationships.

Rapisand’s past experience includes media relations at Macy’s, where she directed significant campaigns in partnership with organizations like the American Heart Association and Make-A-Wish; as well as at the Chicago Office of Tourism + Culture and the Chicago History Museum, securing extensive media coverage and awards for her innovative approaches.

In 2015, the Rapisands adopted their first child; and Lauren stepped back from her professional role and became deeply committed to serving the Park Ridge community. Through these efforts, she fosters a strong sense of community, collaboration, and a commitment to the overall well-being and growth of Park Ridge.

Lauren has a passion for community volunteerism. Below are some of the ways she has given back over the years and continues to do so.
